One word of warning to the investor: BEWARE.
This review is approximately two months overdue. Due to my deeply disturbing experience with Augusta Precious Metals, (which covered a period of approximately one month), and my absolute intolerance for companies that deliberately and recklessly deceive the public, and (in this case, especially senior citizens), I am compelled to write a lengthy, multi-part warning to those who are considering purchasing precious metals from Augusta and any large dealers which are "highly rated" and/ or endorsed by celebrities and/ or online influencers. Since the experience I had prior to purchase was so convoluted and unbelievably horrific, I plan to post my account in subsequent parts.
In the meantime, the overall purpose of this review is so that the reader is not deceived. As far as my experience with Augusta and its staff, (which I believe is not isolated, but systemic), words that come to mind are arrogant, disingenuous, uncaring, cunning, non-customer oriented, pompous, disrespectful, rigid, self-serving, callus and dishonest. All of these attributes are politely served up with a smile, impressive presentations, lots of lies, disguised as "facts", (albeit calculating and some blatantly misleading), and fair speeches, to fool those are unlearned in the precious metal industry.
One thing is guaranteed: If you consent to do business with this company, you will be the looser in the transaction(s). Unfortunately, many who have done business with Augusta and companies which operate in similar fashion, have not yet had occasion to discover the negative financial impact of their decision.
