They did not want to explain anything to me.

The professionalism for a TAX professional is unreal. Either all in general or just the lady at the right desk when you walk in. They first almost filed my Fiancé's and I's taxes as a Married Filing Jointly. I called them as soon as I caught it. They said they would fix it and to give them a few days. Then they try to say that he can't claim head of household even though he's the one that's paying 90 of the bills! I do not currently work because I can not, and im going for Disability for multiple issues. They said that its all wrong and that we were filing previous years illegally. I went to the IRS.gov website for my proof. They still say they will fix stuff. We also did do some doordash to pay some extra bills (less than 2k total between us) and they said we couldnt claim any deductions for being independent contractors. Finally, they call us back about having our taxes done again. They ended up filing us SEPARATELY, wanting an extra payment (we paid $90 to begin with, and they wanted another $90). Also saying that he still couldn't be head of household, and that what we were told is illegal. I finally told them that I did not feel comfortable filing with them. I told them i want my money back along with all the information we gave them, and they tried to say we didnt pay. Took 3 times to get our money back. They told me that I'll file illegally, and that "I hope your tax professional helps you out when you get a letter from the IRS." Total professionalism.
