Formal Complaint Against THD/CBNA for Fraudulent Account Opening and Failure to Delete Account- I am writing to file a formal complaint against THD/CBNA regarding a fraudulent account that was opened without my authorization. Despite my repeated attempts to have the account deleted, THD/CBNA has failed to take appropriate action, which is both concerning and unacceptable. I discovered that an account had been opened with THD/CBNA in my name without my consent or knowledge. I immediately contacted THD/CBNA to report this fraudulent activity and requested that the account be closed and deleted from their records. However, despite providing ample evidence of the unauthorized account opening, THD/CBNA has refused to comply with my request. As a consumer, I believe I am entitled to protection under the FDIC, and I am deeply concerned about the security of my personal information and financial assets. It is unacceptable that THD/CBNA has not taken appropriate action to rectify this situation, especially considering the potential implications for my financial well-being. Furthermore, I have also lodged a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regarding this matter, but to no avail. Despite my efforts to seek assistance through official channels, THD/CBNA has remained unresponsive and uncooperative. I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that THD/CBNA addresses this. Resolution Sought I am formally requesting the immediate removal of the THD/CBNA account from my credit profile. After reviewing my financial records, I have determined that this account no longer accurately reflects my credit history and its presence is adversely affecting my credit standing. I kindly request that this matter be addressed promptly to ensure the accuracy and integrity of my credit report.
