Subject: Complaint Regarding Citibank's Handling of My Billing Dispute To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint regarding Citibank's handling of my billing dispute involving a purchase from Ionix Labs. Before disputing the charge with Citibank, I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve the matter directly with the merchant during the advertised 90-day money-back guarantee period. Ionix Labs advertised a "90-Day Guarantee – Try it risk-free. Not satisfied? Full refund, no questions asked." However, when I requested a refund, the company refused, stating that refunds could not be issued for "hygiene reasons." I believe this directly contradicts the guarantee that influenced my purchase. After my attempts with the merchant were unsuccessful, I filed a billing dispute with Citibank. My initial dispute was denied. I then contacted Citibank and submitted additional documentation supporting my claim, including evidence of the merchant's advertised money-back guarantee and the merchant's refusal to honor it. Despite providing this additional evidence, my dispute was denied again. I was informed that there was insufficient evidence to support my claim. However, I do not believe my documentation was fully or fairly considered, as I submitted evidence directly addressing the reason for the dispute. Since closing my Citibank account, I no longer have access to all of my dispute correspondence. I retained one dispute decision letter, but I Resolution Sought I would like my money back, but at this point, if I can't get my money back, I think a rating F as long as possible for everyone to read will be at a second consideration I would like it to be considered for both companies that I'm dealing with. Thank you.

They’re willing to set but I have to have to wait for a check in the mail so they could take 14 no more days. Once I get the check for sure and then we can take it down. Thanks

RESPONSE: Agreed to make an adjustment Amount in Dispute: $52.42 Amount Settled: $0.00

Customer Complaint

7/15/2026

I reported a fraudulent charge to Citibank on 5/12/2026. Today, 7/14/2026, I have been told that my submission was never marked as fraud, but rather as an unauthorized charge. I spoke with multiple representatives regarding the nature of this charge and explicitly explained it as fraud. The charge remains on my account and multiple request that I have made for email confirmations were denied, which leaves no way for me to track events of the issue. Furthermore, as a consumer, it is not my responsibility to distinguish fraud versus unauthorized charge. I provided the company with the information they needed to investigate this issue. Resolution Sought I would like the $52.42 charge removed from my Citibank credit card account.
