Update your mobile app policy

Citibank only has 1 branch location in the 20 mile radius of where I live. I tried to walk in on a sat because I work Mon-Fri 8 to 4 the branch closes at 5 I use public transportation however I wanted to cash a check at the branch I was told the manager who signs off on checks doesn't work weekends. However I mobile deposit hoping to receive my funds with next business day which I did sat deposit received mon. I the following week deposit midnight thrs hoping I would receive my funds fri the latest sat morning. We'll the released half of my funds told me I can only get half and I should be receiving the rest mon. Again policy on mobile app says 1 business day so even if they didn't give all on sat why is it mon and I still haven't received my other half of money and was told I cant receive it until Tues. How is 1 day become 3 days thats not the policy. People shouldn't have to receive half of their check when I deposit a whole check. Then to make me wait for half of my funds for 2 extra days is wild. I am unable to take care of what I need to because im still waiting on funds to deposit. Also received multiple emails stating my check was deposited and approved on Sunday and I deposited it on a thrs gave me half my funds sat but here we are monday and I have to wait yet again til Tues for the remaining balance and they have no reason or explanation of why. They need to be fined for misleading on the mobile app and with their poilicy.

They need to stop telling people they can use the card right away if they are not going to honor it.

I applied to them and was approved for 1000. It said it was ready to use right away and gave me the card number. Drove approximately 30 minutes to meijer. Ran the card and was denied. Spent 20 minutes. On the phone. Received a text from them, called them back about the code, they didn't even want the code and said I had to wait for a letter in the mail. Why did they tell me it was ready to use if it wasn't? I only got it because there was something I really wanted for Christmas. Guess I won't be getting it now, the card is of no use to me now. I think it's wrong that they say it's ready to use and the can look up the account, but failed to tell me that it wouldn't work. I was horrified because I have never had so much trouble with cards. They need to stop telling people they can use the card right away if they are not going to honor it. It's very embarrassing for people, thankfully my husband was with me and he paid for some of the things I had although I did have to leave stuff behind.
