Complainants allege bait and switch advertising practices, high pressure sales tactics, poor quality workmanship, and excessive charges. Customers complain they contact the company to clean carpets based on coupons distributed which promise cleaning services for a set price, by number of rooms or specified square footage. Customers complain, upon arrival, technicians use high pressure tactics or intimidation to persuade them to agree too much higher priced services. Other customers complain that carpet or upholstery showed no visible difference after the cleaning as before items were cleaned. Some customers claim the company fails to honor their money back guarantee.

The company responds to complaints by explaining that the customers were aware that their carpets may not come clean with the dry cleaning method due to heavy soiling, and generally agree to send a technician back to the home for re-cleaning. To address allegations of bait and switch, or overcharging, the company contends that customers did not have to agree to the charges, but did, and provided a breakdown of their charges.
