eBay is placing hundreds maybe thousands of sellers payments on hold to "review and monitor their account". Holds can be anywhere from 3 days after delivery to 30 days after delivery depending on what they choose without any explanation. When asked how to resolve the issue to have payments released there is no resolution only to wait for whatever time frame they choose is good enough to review the account, again no explanation as to different tiers of holds and hold time frames etc. When someone works or sells a product you should receive pay for said services in a timely manner and. It's understandable to place a hold on a single order if there is an issue with that order but to place an immediate hold on every item that is sold without explanation is not okay. I provided an explanation to them about packages and shipping due to weather restrictions and that some customers did not provide valid proof for their claims. Yet all the fault falls on me and I have to take the loss of items and funds when eBay takes 13 of everything I sell (calculated after tax so really it's more than 13) and the customers word is still prioritized over mine. I can't have my funds on hold for up to 30 days I have bills to pay children to feed and I have to reinvest into supplies to even be able to sell items and ship them out to make an income. This is unfair and unjust and I'm not going to just say nothing like the other sellers on eBay. Resolution Sought I would like to have my funds released to me and I would also like the company to add a page in the F.A.Q/Help section that explains different hold tiers and timeframes along with the reason for the hold for each tier. Create transparency and don't make the sellers suffer, we're what make your business thrive.
