I sold an item using the EBay Marketplace: QUEEN ELIZABETH 2018 YEAR OF THE DOG COMMEMORATIVE MIRROR PROOF COIN- This link opens in a new tab or new window. Order number: 08-14779-33019 The buyer received more than likely found the item for a cheaper price and requested a refund stating that the item was made in Australia and not England. eBay sided with the seller although the buyer was not being truthful. However since initially I refused the returned when asked by the seller he became very hostile. The buyer sent my coin back damaged. I contacted EBay once I inspected my item once returned and discovered the damage. Now through eBay I'm supposed to be insured that we are protected against this. But it sent me a response saying that they don't know if it was damaged when the buyer received it. I responded by saying that the buyer did not claim that the item was damaged for the reason they requested a refund. Because that would have been a valid reason if that was the case. The reason of the request was he believed the item was made in a different country. eBay is using this possible reason so they have to use the insurance policy that they lie to get us to ship our items unprotected to buyers while crossing there finger's hoping nothing will happen requiring them to actual take responsibility for the actions of a bad buyer Resolution Sought I would like to be paid for the item that returned in a different condition

I had someone create an ebay account with my personal email address and try to scam people into buying cameras. I have tried numerous times to try to get ebay to respond to me through email about this issue and I only get any automated message sent back to me. There is no number for customer service to call. I have had this issue for months now and ebay is now sending me emails that global collections is trying to collect money from me and I have no way of contacting or getting help from ebay to ensure that my credit is not being affected by this scammer. I am very irritated that I cannot talk to a representative and get to a solution about this matter. I DO NOT recommend ebay to anyone. Not only has someone taken my email and tried to scam people but I have also gotten scammed when trying to purchase items off of ebay. DO NOT use ebay. You will get no help from anyone and it is definitely not a company that cares about their customers. I have all the necessary documents I would need to sue ebay over this situation and I will if it comes to that point. Resolution Sought I need them to completely resolve this issue. I need confirmation that my credit is not being affected. I need them to actually contact me and talk to a REAL person. They need to take my personal email off of ebay all together and fix THEIR problem. I have not had an ebay account in 10 years and should not have to be dealing with this.
