I purchased a scanner through ebay. Somehow they used one of old addresses and it was shipped there. Uspsarked it as non deliverable or something and sent it back to the seller. They won't refund my and I never received the item Resolution Sought I want a full refund or what I ordered

I made a purchase from eBay on 08/16/2026 on 08/22/2025 I received a notice from eBay that my order was delivered. When I went to the mailbox I did not find anything so I email them stating that I did not receive anything, I was told to wait until 08/29/2025 I called the post office to see why I had not received my package even though they said it was delivered, they gave me a number for missing mail (Postal Inspectors) which asked for the tracking number and verified that the package was delivered just not to my address and by law stated that they could not provide me with that address, when I updated eBay with the information they told me that I had to wait until 08:29/2025 and if I still had not received my order that they would step in. Well I waited until 08/29/2025 and as soon as I emailed them on 08/29/2025 I immediately received an email stating that the matter was closed because the notification stated that the order was delivered . But it was delivered to the wrong address and they refused to call the postal inspector to confirm it was delivered to my address. Please help Resolution Sought Refund me my money for the item
