My father took out a loan with this bank for air conditioning for the house I live In. Which is my parents house. My parents are decease. Now, the bank wants me to pay a charge off account that is not in my name. Resolution Sought We sent them a death certificate. I would like them to close the account.

Company states; In the complaint, the borrower stated her payments are not correctly being applied to principal. Our records indicate the Borrower contacted Regions Bank dba EnerBank USA on May 18, 2020, applied, and was approved for a Traditional Installment Loan in the amount of $10,000.00 with an interest rate of 14.99%. A Consumer Note & Disclosure Statement (the "Note") was provided to the Borrower prior to signing the Payment Authorization Form on June 11, 2020 after the completion of the home improvement project. The Note indicates interest will accrue daily on the unpaid principal balance of the loan until the loan is paid in full. As the interest accrues daily, the number of days between payments will alter the amount of the outstanding interest at the time of the next payment is received. Once the uncollected interest is satisfied, the remaining amount of the payment will be applied to principal. A further review of our records indicates the Borrower's payment history and principal balance is accurate and in accordance with the Note. We trust that the forgoing is responsive to the complaint.
