BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Customers allege a variety of complaint allegations concerning misrepresentation, misappropriation of deposits or other advance fees, unauthorized credit card charges, and misuse of trade in vehicles while in their possession. Some complainants allege they received numerous toll road or parking violations on vehicles that were supposed to be parked. Other customers claim that thousands of miles were added to odometer readings while the company was in possession of their car. One complainant alleged he learned his vehicle was being used as a rental car without his knowledge. Several complainants report their vehicles were routinely driven by girlfriends and family members who involved them in DUI offenses or caused them to be impounded by police. Many customers complain their vehicles were returned back to dealerships with excessive mileage, damages, or in poor condition which the dealer held them responsible for. Several complainants alleged the company retained advance fees or deposits as service fees when leases failed to fund.

The company responds to most complaints by disputing the allegations or by indicating that problems had been resolved. Many complainants notified our office that despite the company's positive response, no resolution had been reached, and refunds promised by the company had not actually been received. In some cases refunds were secured by the complainants due to filing credit card disputes, and being refunded by their card issuer.
