Placed call for Refrigerator not cooling on 4-17-25. They sent Royal Appliance Service to repair. They said it needed the defroster heater to be replaced. Ordered the part. waited till 4-24-25 for it to be replaced. Was done and all is well with the frig. I paid Royal Appliance the invoice that they gave me. $60 on 4-17-25 and #321.45 on 4-24-25 when they completed the repair. On 4-24-25 I received form First Premier Claim # TN-0006606 A Cash in Lieu of repair form to sign that offered $112.33 less deductible of $60. Wanted me to Please have this signed and sent back to us so we can finalize the claim. Policy FP-000538 from Carmine Petrobelli Sr. I called them a few times and they insisted that the form Cash in lieu was what they agreed on. I did not sign and return. These companies are suppose to repair or replace. They did neither. Resolution Sought Pay for the Frige repair less the deductible that I paid. $381.45 less $60 that I paid Total $321.45

I am a 90-year-old senior reporting misleading practices by First Premier Home Warranty. I signed up for a six-year plan based on assurances given during a phone call. Key terms were not disclosed, and after paying $1,794, my son found clauses in the policy that were never mentioned. We felt deceived and requested a cancellation and a full refund. Despite numerous calls and emails, the company has ignored my requests and is trying to impose a $75 service cost for "binding the policy," which was never disclosed initially. They claim this fee covers costs paid to a third party, despite a 30-day full money-back guarantee. A representative was even rude to me when I mentioned reporting their practices. Resolution Sought I would like a full refund of $1,794 as promised by the 30-day money-back guarantee, and for the company to cease their misleading practices.

I have made several attempts to resolve this matter, but each time I am transferred repeatedly and asked the same questions, with no progress made. It feels as though the company is intentionally delaying the process to run out the 30-day money-back guarantee period. Additionally, I was never informed of any fees that would be deducted from my refund. These undisclosed charges are not only surprising but also unfair. If a pro-rated refund involves fees, I believe this should have been communicated upfront. As a senior citizen, I am deeply disheartened by this experience. It seems the company is using unfair tactics to withhold my rightful refund of $1,794.00, which is extremely concerning. I kindly request your assistance to resolve this matter promptly. Otherwise, I may need to explore legal options to protect my interests.
