BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Complainants report a variety of service and billing related disputes generally alleging poor quality services inability to cancel added on previously undisclosed charges excessive down time or that the company fails to issue credits or refunds. Some customers complain that internet connection service is as slow as dial up or that VOIP services are limited in some areas. Several customers complain that customer service or tech support representatives are rude and unprofessional. ~~On July 9 2008 the company notified the BBB that they will no longer respond to any complaints presented by the BBB citing reasons as they do not believe that process is fair. ~~The company has responded to some complaints presented by our office since that time. In most cases the company disputes the customer’s allegations advises the complainant to read Terms of Service they agreed to accuses the customer of providing false information and generally denies refund requests. In a few cases the company agreed to issue refunds or credits however in some of these cases complainants report no credits or refunds are actually received. One or more complaints are unresolved meaning the company failed to properly address the complaint allegations or their response was inadequate.
