The movers damaged my antique dining room table by placing a sofa sectional on the table. I have contacted the owner Nikia Brooks for 2 months trying to resolve the matter but have been unsuccessful. She has not been prompt in her response and not been committed to the timeline for responsiveness. At the beginning of the incident I was told that I would receive a claims form to proceed and she even requested that I engage in fraudulent activity by filing a claim with Hire Helper the third party that I used to hire her company more than a year prior to this incident. I have used this company multiple times prior to this incident and this is the first time I have experienced this kind of challenge. Several other items were damaged during the move and I forwarded pictures of those items however no follow up or attempt to resolve has been attempted. I am very disappointed at the lack of communication and resolution for an incident that occurred nearly two months ago. I have a well documented list of text messages and pictures of all damaged property. As I have exhausted all methods to attempt to resolve this matter, I am seeking payment to replace all damaged items. Resolution Sought Provide a refund for moving expenses and to provide compensation for all damaged items.

I would like to dispute this complaint. Kristie and I didn't have any contractual agreement. Kristie asked me to provide her with helpers the night of October 28th. I sent her Helpers only. She provided and drove her own truck. She also assist with loading the truck. Once the truck was loaded she looked at the truck and was satisfied. She offer to pay the helpers. She drove her own truck to the unloading site. She stated that she hired someone else to unload her truck. She sent me pictures of the table base the following day. Kristie is Responsible for getting her own items to the destination safely. Once she stated that her table base was broken I was concern as an acquaintance. I offer to get her table base repaired several times personally not as a business and she declined. I asked for her addressed several times and she denied me of it. Her table base could have broken in transit or when the other helpers unloaded her items. It seems the only resolution she wanted was money.

The date in question is incorrect as I hired Global Movers on 10/21/23. I have documented messages between Nikia Brooks owner of the company and myself to confirm that I hired her company to load my truck for moving. I also have a witness that the table was not damaged prior to the movers placing a sectional on top of it. In fact, the scheduled hours for the service was three hours and the service was not completed for five hours. Additionally Nikia brought in additional movers after the first unsupervised ones damaged my wall and were not making progress. The new movers rearranged the truck and when my witness and I came out. The truck door was closed and we were instructed to place the lock on the door. As I had utilized Global Elites service multiple times with no problems I was alarmed and disappointed that foremost they arrived several hours late and that the job took twice as long as what was communicated, I have several messages to confirm this, Additionally, Nikia asked me ( and I have a witness) to file a claim with the company that I used a year prior to file a claim for the broken items caused by her workers "as I would get more money from them than her",

This is a personal matter. We didn't have a Contractual agreement for this transaction. We did have an agreement for 10.21.23 which the job was completed and the transaction ended on 10.21.23. On 10.21.23 Kristie stated that the helpers left marks on her wall. So I agreed to move her items out of her Storage unit located at Life storage on Camp creek parkway east point, GA in place of any miscellaneous /wall damages on 10.28.23. The helpers finished and we left. Kristie wanted someone to help her at her Douglassville home but we had to leave after the job was completed. Helpers was sent to Kristie the night of 10.28.23 as a Favor. She paid them and not me. Kristie was willing for one person to come and help her because she stated she really needed the help and offer to pay who ever. She mention to me and another helper that in 2022 her dresser was broken while booking us though hire a helper(helpers only)platform. I told her she would have to file a claim through Hire a helper because that's who she booked at the time.There is a difference between the laborers and moving company. She drove her own truck to GAand someone else will unload her truck at the unload location.
