Poor customer service

My husband went into the store yesterday 7/15/2018. He went to the deli to get meat. They were calling the numbers and personally by passed him. That's because he wants the meat finely shredded and they don't want to do it. He made a complaint, they apologized and gave him $4.00. he was so insulted, he turned around and gave the people the money. He then said that he did not need there money. He came home and told me about it. He was so hurt by all this. It seems like every time they see my husband, they try to avoid him. Is it too much to ask for a little respect. That is their job. To wait on customers. If you cannot handle it, go to another job. We want nothing in return, just respect. I will go in the next time. They don't want to give me a hard time, because I will make a scene to get my point across. I hope you can address this issue. Thank you for your time.
