I believe you have to know about our disastrous experience with a recent Ikea (Burbank) order. We ordered a few base cabinets for our new kitchen. I had to make FOUR trips to the store and spend 15 hours before the order was finally placed. While the model we decided to order was discontinued, the delays were not created by that simple fact that items were not available, since we have agreed to change anything needed on the order (e.g drawer fronts instead doors etc.) in order to fulfill the order. The four trips and the extended stays were mainly sheer incompetence since once we have left the store, all 3 counter tops were forgotten to be added to the initial order and I first got a link to pay for 2 of them the same day and then a day later another link to pay for the third one. Once that was done I was supposed to receive the items three days later. All seemed available but ONE door that had to be sourced from a San Diego store. The delivery driver arrived and told us that 48 packages are on the order but only 22 on his truck. He stated that he had to wait for 1 hour from 8 am to 9 am since Ikea couldn't locate our order at all. He delivered the 22 items and I spoke to Aly complaining that more than half of the order was missing. She said more deliveries are to come. Three more trucks came the same day with one or two items being delivered each time. Still almost half of the order was missing two weeks later. Resolution Sought Full refund of purchase price

I bought a bed frame in IKEA, Burbank, CA, paid for delivery service and when I received the product the head bed frame was damaged and IKEA refused to replace it in a timely manner. IKEA customer service behaved very rude hung up my ph call and told me that I have to wait 2 weeks for my product to be replaced even I saw that they have the part in its warehouse Resolution Sought replace the product damged as soon as possible and compensate all this inconvenience
