What is a Verified Review? We do our best to ensure that the reviews posted are authentic. If we determine, in our sole judgment, that a review may not be genuine, that is, it may not have been posted by a customer, we will remove it. Contractor signed roofing ontract, raised price at last minute, failed to return deposit or communicate with me for 4 wks.

Kennedy Construction Groups signed a contract with me to re roof my shingle roof. The last business day before they were to begin work, they called me and raised their price almost 20! When I declined, they canceled the contract. Their contract required them to reimburse me my deposit within 14 days.
They did not do so and they did not contact me. I sent them a certified letter requesting my deposit. After 4 weeks, I phoned them and was told they would return my deposit in full which they then did.
I am pleased that they returned my deposit. I am not pleased with their professionalism, nor their lack of communication and cannot in good conscience recommend them to others.
