I recently had a horrible experience at the Lexus of Winter Park dealership. I purchased a 2019 ES350 Certified car with an extended manufactory warranty back in August. I was told the vehicle had no previous accidents. Shortly after my purchase, my headlight started developing condensation. There was no physical damage to the outside of my headlight or car. The technician stated that there was a crack internally, but he could not explain how the crack may have happened without any previous accidents. I spoke to a Rep by the name of Sylvia Mickle and she also had no explanation of why I sold a car that may have been in a previous accident or sold with a defective part. Nor could she provide me with the 160-point inspection that my vehicle had underwent at the time of purchase. She further stated that she does not even own a Lexus to guide me in the right direction. I was charged over $600 for the repair of a damage that I did not cause. I did further research and found that Lexus had a class action suit for the Lexus RX being sold to consumers with a defective assembly part that caused condensation to the headlight. We have been given the run around and no one has any answers for why we are responsible for this damage. Resolution Sought Refund me full price of the repair as it should be covered under the warranty or dealership sold me a car with a defective part.

I had an appointment for my 2000 Lexus for an alignment. Lyndon is my service advisor. I waited for a few hours and when my car was brought back I paid $140 for the alignment to be told, your car is now pulling to the left because you need new tires. I was quoted $750 for 4 times. No coupons to use. I paid and left. However, the more I think about it I get really frustrated about the whole experience. The following day, November 4th, I received a survey call and told the caller my situation and that I would have liked to be told FIRST I needed tires before aligning the car. I just wasted $140. No calls from Lexus at all or my advisor. The reason I'm filing a complaint is because this is wrong. I have nothing against my service advisor; he's always being polite and professional. But, I think he should had told me "Your car needs 4 new tires so the alignment will work otherwise, if we align the car, its going to pull. The tires are $XXXX. What would you like to do?" But no - my car was aligned and now pulls to the left plus I need 4 new tires and a new alignment. I just wasted $140 to the Lexus dealer. Totally unacceptable. Resolution Sought I would like the dealer to credit me the $140 to either my credit card or as a service credit. I still need to buy the tires and have the car aligned again.
