Train your staff
We went in to purchase lamps, we had questions so the gentleman who was helping us called the manager over. We asked whether they were on clearance, she rolled her eyes and snapped saying they are what they are. She treated us like we shouldn't be in that store or as if we were trying to screw the company over. I am disabled, and Latina, I left crying because of how badly she treated us. We have spent over $5,000.00 on a living room set, we were planning on purchasing a complete king bedroom set, a queen bedroom set for our guest bedroom and a complete dining room set, we had already chosen what we wanted but because of the way she treated us, I will never purchase anything from this company. She treated the Caucasian customers with a smile and was courteous but treated us like we were scum. As I was leaving she called me a b**** as I passed by. All we did was ask questions and she made us feel like we were stealing from them. She smacked her lips when we asked her questions, rolled her eyes, I left because of she treated us, my husband bought the lamps, where I would not have! This occurred on 2/3/25 at the Draper Utah location, she was about 5'6" tall, dark brown hair in a ponytail. The way she made me feel personally is pure prejudice I just don't know if it was because of my skin color or my disability as I was in my wheelchair. She should not be in customer service let alone management. I have left email, reviews and now BBB because I am being ignored

Racisim at it's finest at the Monrovia store
Racisim at it's finest at the Monrovia store. My husband and myself went into store to order a custom sofa. We already knew what we wanted and just had to place the order. We walked around for over 30 minutes and no one asked to help "us" ,we did notice that the white and black customers were being approached and asked if they needed help. My husband went to the information desk and there was no one there, so he had to walk around the store for another 20 minutes looking for someone to help us place an order. He finally found a "trainee" to help us. The trainee tried to help take our order but was clearly confused and slow. Infuriated at this point, we left without placing our order. So, if your HISPANIC don't go to this store location because you will be invisible. Would have liked to leave the store with a new furniture order and would have liked to felt that my patronage was valued.
