Unprofessional

I place an order for two items on December 11, 2020. My order was not shipped until the 17th and I was NEVER contacted that one of my items was not available. I had to log into my account to find out. I check on the item that supposed to have shipped first class from Texas on the 17th and it's STILL in Texas and was told 3 day shipping. This is the WORST company ever and so unprofessional. Who knows when my other item will ever ship they sure don't keep you posted on anything. PATHETIC!

Unethical business practices

I bent an alloy wheel on my Fiat after hitting a pot hole. So after getting a replacement quote from local Fiat Dealer I decided that I would look online for said wheel for a cheaper price. Thats when I came across wheels for sale on 500Madness.com which is a subsite of http://madnessautoworks.com . Low an behold I find advertised a set of 4 Wheels on sale for $258. So I ordered and paid for them. Receipt of my payment emailed to me and costs charged to my credit card. Pretty stoked to be getting some "red" wheels.

So two days later on Jan 2nd I get an email, figuring it is a shipping notification. Instead it's a rep from madness autoworks informing me that there was a "typo" in the description. $258 was for 1 wheel not a set of 4 as clearly advertised and detailed on my receipt. So now I and miffed and not happy about the order. Hardly a "typo". I mention that it appears to be fraudulent case of bait-and-switch.

So next I get another email from another rep. Mind you I was about to let it go and just take a refund. Until I read this email insinuating that I probably knew this was a typo and was trying to take advantage of their mistake. Now I am offended and respond as such and reply all to others that were cc'd from this company.

I get a 3rd email from yet another rep telling me the resolution is I will not get what I purchased because there was no sale and I will be getting a refund asap and thats it, the situation is resolved in their opinion and not up to be discussed any further.
