Day by Day sober house, Columbia Heights, mn
My daughter lived at this sober house only a month. She would call me crying about the living environment. When she moved out the manager told her she had to leave any furniture she had brought in. Her room was furnished only with 2 single bed with stains on mattress, one dresser with broken drawers, a plastic 3 drawer storage upon move in. The closet doors needed repair. I ask owner for our $300. Damage deposit back and was told I am hanging up on you...and she did. 3 other women moved out that month. Things were just not "right".

Day by Day - Columbia Heights
Day by Day Living, Sober House, Columbia Heights, mn4950 Jefferson St..Columbia Heights, MN This house is a very TOXIC environment..! I moved into the day by day Columbia heights house and moved out soon after. The house had bugs in it the house was dirty, the shower/tub were very disgusting. They charged 300$ for a deposit bland asked for a 4month minimum stay and a good notice of moving out in order to get your deposit back. Even with Meeting all their requirements they would still keep the deposit by making up lies in order to keep it. While I was there in 1 month 4 women either moved out or were kicked out and Day by Day kept all their deposits by making up lies about why's they weren't giving them back. We would go weeks without toilet paper or cleaning supplies. Wen we would ask them for toilet paper we would be told that it isn't coming they would keep telling us the day when it would get to the house but that would be a lie and while we waited for toilet paper we were told to pool our money together and but toilet paper for the house. That is totally unexceptable..! We were told if we bring in any furniture or DVD players or movies anything like that we were supposed to leave it at the house when we moved out. If u had a car while living at the sober house it was our responsibility to Give rides to anyone who doesn't have a car they would call it service work. I would NOT recommend this house or this company to anyone looking for a sober house it was run very poorly and Day by Day does NOT have your best interests at heart..,!
