He shouldn't be allowed to tow for the city. At best, his website doesn't allow negative reviews. Only positive "testimonials." The way he operates i

I was in an accident sat April 17th 2021 in Altoona, IA. The Altoona pd set up the tow through mid-iowa towing. I was from outa town 2.5 hours from home. Called Sunday at 2:20 pm to set up an appt to get my personal belongings from my vehicle so I wouldn't have to make a special trip back because my car was totaled. The owner said a driver would be there in 45 to meet me(3:05) I got there at 2:50. Still with my two boys 12 and 6. No one showed. He ignored 5 phone calls I started making at 330, when he was 25 min late. After contacting the Altoona pd, they contacted him directly and told me he'd be another 20-25 min. Which by now it was about 4 pm already. So by 430 I called and this time he answered and started cussing me out, told me to just go home. He was busy etc. Said if I could wait 25 more min someone would be there. I waited till 515 and finally left. I had Thurs 22nd off and drove back to get my belongings. I had left a review on his website Detailing what had happened. I walk in Thurs morning and he immediately started yelling about the review I left. Threatened to kill me if I didn't pay the 411.00 dollar storage fee, or get out of his office. Said he'd throw me out, and Threatened to kill me again. Said I couldn't get my belongings until my car was off his property. The verbal abuse was more extensive, I called the police. They arrived and said they couldn't really do anything. I left and went to where my insurance company had my car moved to and got my things.
