On Friday, May 13, we had the AC parts replaced for our upstairs unit. The bonus space is roughly 250 sq ft. Indoor parts, including a new evaporator coil & outside condenser were replaced. Since the install, it has not worked. We will set it to 72 & by 2pm it won't get below 85 degrees in this small space. They have sent 3 people to look at the unit & only 1 tech has actually worked on the unit. The other techs didn't even touch the unit. Their senior tech came & without touching it, said they'd "redo" the install because of how poorly done it was. When they came to "redo" the install, I asked what he had done differently. The tech that came told me he only shifted the plenum over & did not touch the parts inside. No surprise, it did not help. I even had THEIR AC guy install an extra air duct & vent to the room to help add extra air flow. The customer care manager is now pushing us off. My phone calls would not go through for a week to him so I used another phone to call & he answered right away. He denies blocking me & for 20 minutes argued with me about it & refused to discuss our AC. I called the office & the secretary told me she was told "there is nothing more they can do at this time" I've requested a return & refund. We had a separate hvac specialist come diagnose the problem since & Mitch Wright refuses to correct their problem. We have a non working $5800 AC unit that they won't work on or take back. We still have an unliveable space due to their nonworking A Resolution Sought I have requested they removed their equipment and give me a refund since they cannot get their equipment to properly function. So I would like a return and full refund.
