I'd just like to put the unprofessional business on blast so that no one else has to deal with this nonsense!

I scheduled an appointment through my Sears Protection Plan and received 2 confirmation texts for an appointment on 11/12/20 between 8am and noon. When no one showed up, called or texted, I started calling Sears at noon to find out what happened. After being on hold for over an hour, I was connected with someone who told me that I had to call the contractor myself to find out what happened, which I did. When Val picked up the phone, he did not identify himself or his business, he just said "Hello"! I replied with "Is this Mountain Air"? He said yes rather surly. I asked his name and told him that I had been waiting on someone from his company since 8am. He was very nonchalant and told me that he had cancelled my appointment because he was not available. Obviously, he made no attempt to contact me about the change. I rescheduled my day to accommodate this appointment and that was time wasted over 5 hours dealing with this nonsense! I will be contacting Sears to get a refund for the protection plan and I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!
