Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with Sallie Mae not processing my student loan account for deferment. I was enrolled in less than half-time because the school only offered one class that I could take last semester. I have three classes left and will graduate in May 2025. Sallie Mae instructed me to fill out the in-school deferment form, which I did and submitted to the school over a month ago. However, the school is waiting to assign a CRN number for the independent class I'm taking, as there were no literature courses offered this semester. Sallie Mae claims it will take 10-12 days to process the deferment form if received by February 13. However, once I submit the form, they should process it within 3-5 days, not 12, as any delay negatively impacts my credit. Additionally, my wife, who is the co-signer, has been receiving threatening emails about potential legal action, which is concerning since I have no control over the school's class offerings or CRN assignment. Sallie Mae should support students, not create unnecessary obstacles. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Thank you. Resolution Sought To put my account in deferment as it should be so I don't get negative impact on my credit history.

I am currently working with Nationa Debt relief and Sallie Mae has contacted me four times a day since atleast February. They have went as far to contact my father everyday as well. They have contacted my boyfriend who I share a loan with for a car. They contacted my exhusband who I have been divorced from for 4 years. They contacted my exhusbands father who I have no relation to at all. They are relentless. Resolution Sought Stop harassing me and anyone that knows me. They contacted people that do not know my financial situation.
