Unhappy, crabby owner

The owner has a huge chip on her shoulders. She was non-welcoming and very crabby. My 11 year old son tried joking with her about the warm, stuffy temperature in her store (which is in an 1800s house). He jokingly told her that she must want her house to really feel like it was in the 1800s. She jumped all over my son, repeatedly telling him, "What an incredibly rude little boy he was." He just stood there not knowing how to respond. Then, the owner proceeded to jump all over my husband and I, repeatedly telling us how our parenting skills were lacking how she her kids and grandkids would never think of saying what my son said and how she would be disciplining her kids and grandkids right now if they had ever said anything like my son said. This owner wouldn't let up on us, so we felt we needed to leave. Save yourself the trouble and avoid going into her store. Her merchandise isn't that great anyways.
