They know you can't do anything to fight them so they couldn't care less about you.

I would strongly encourage you to avoid purchasing an NSI warranty. I cannot tell if this is a fraudulent operation or simply incompetent. Take your pick. All I can tell you is that you should not expect your warranty claim to be honored and if you want to contest it, plan on being on the phone with a call center for hours only to be frustrated at the end. It's Your call. Spend your money how you wish. But given that virtually every review on this company is one star, i think can tell that your money would be better spent by saving it in some sort of home maintenance account and just paying for problems, if they happen to occur, on a case by case basis. Good luck.

Stay away from NSI - they are not a reputable company

We purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher in 2017. The problem with the machine is that the top rack always break. The components are plastic. Not worth the money. We got an extended warranty through NSI. When the part broke after a year they arranged for a service center to inspect the machine, ordered the part and installed it. Now the part broke again. I called NSI notified them. They have the earlier repair in their machine. I requested that they just order the part and I will insert it myself. That is when the problem arises. One, there is no human at NSI to talk with. When you call them you get a call center who has no authority to provide assistance. The service center they assign you also has no authority to just purchase the part that is under warranty, without a home inspection. Under the current pandemic that makes no sense. I asked for a return phone call from someone with authority. A Mr. Jackson was supposed to call. WE NEVER GOT ANY PHONE CALL FROM HIM OR ANYONE FROM NSI.
