Some customers complain they incur unauthorized credit card charge for an unsolicited membership package. Complainants are reportedly advised their credit card numbers are obtained from various Internet marketing firms with whom they had previously transacted business. Other complainants report receiving an unsolicited "free trial" membership package with a 30-day, or 10-day negative option clause for cancellation. However, despite prompt cancellations, most incurr charges whether or not cancellations are made within the designated trial periods.The company responds to most complaints by issuing credits to cards and cancelling memberships as requested. Some complaints are closed as unresolved, meaning the customers are not satisfied with the company's response. Most credit card issuers will allow the cardholder 60 days to dispute an unauthorized or inaccurate charge. Visa has a six month window to dispute charges. Review your monthly statement carefully. If you discover a charge which is unfamiliar, contact the credit card company and dispute the charge.
