Substandard work and failed to complete job as per contract

So relieved that my cousin finally fired this good for nothing contractor (rene layug)  whom she contracted to do the bathroom renovation.  He was Highly recommended by a friend so  we never thought was a crook!!!!!! He was supposed to finish his job in a months time but after 6 weeks the work is not even halfway done.  We had a site super from my work check the bathroom and was told that his work were substandard.   It wouldnt pass  inspection. The tiles were unevenly installed, regular drywall were used instead of greenboard, plumbing fixtures were not replaced and even up to now he hasnt delivered the sliding door for the shower.  He didnt secure a permit from the city which is required  by  the City. Even  the mexican guy he contracted commented that rene is not as good as he claims to be and that  he doesnt know what he's doing  He even stole the 3 stainless handrails that he removed from our bathroom !!!!!!!   So if you are looking for a contractor,  please refrain from committing the same misake we had.  DO NOT USE RL GENERAL CONTRACTING owned by RENE LAYUG
