It was horrible. I only wanted an oil change. I was convinced my the service department that my computer needed an update. I said my car is fine. They said it's showing that you need your door fixed. However my door was fine. But I did what they said and I had them install the update. My car is a 2019 Jetta R line series. Ever since they put in that update. My car has been acting weird. Shows all warning lights. So I had to bring it in again to get this fixed. Upon fixing it. The service team tells me that a rodent ate my oil change wire. I said impossible. I have no rodents where I live. I said whatever is going on with my car is from that update you guys did. They wanted 200 bucks to change one wire. My car is a lease. My car was running fine until I get them install that update. One of the mechanics did something to my wire and tried saying a rodent ate it. Not way am I paying 200 bucks for a car that was running perfectly until they put in that update. I even tried talking to the owner Kim. She didn't want to hear it. Instead she threatened that she's keeping my car and then hung up on me. All because I told her I'm giving her dealership horrible reviews online. Resolution Sought To fix my oil change wire without me having to pay 200 bucks for one wire. Especially my car being a lease. And I want an apology from the owner Kim.

The customer whom filed this complaint has been a problem here before and has been asked to not return. He has often become verbally abusive when we try to help him understand basic issues with his vehicle. In this case, we discovered a rodent had chewed through a wire in his vehicle and quoted him the correct price to fix it. He went crazy, yelling and swearing, and simply refused to pay for the repair, claiming he "has no rodents where he lives". We do not wish to fight with Mr. Meola but we will not be threatened into giving him $200 for no reason. We encourage him to take his vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. We have served our community with integrity for over 76 years and have thousands of happy customers whom we share mutual trust and respect with. It is our goal to create lasting relationships with our customers, but we do not tolerate disrespect by anyone. We wish Mr. Meola well in the future.

Kim is the owner of this place and she is lying through her teeth. I've never ever had a problem at this dealership before this catastrophe happened. I've been going to Scott Volkswagen for over 15 years and never once has I caused a problem before. She says me telling her on the phone that I'm leaving horrible reviews is a threat. It's not a threat. It's the truth. She's to asinine to know what a real threat is. Me telling her that I'm leaving horrible reviews after the horrible experience I had is not a threat. Here's the funniest part. I took my car to another Volkswagen dealership. They fixed my car with no problems. I didn't have to pay a thing. They even showed me where this mysterious wire that was eaten by rodents. It was so obvious the wire was cut by a utility knife. It's simple as to what happened. Her mechanics cut my wire by accident and tried to come up with some lame brain excuse blaming it on rodents. I still have the old wire sitting right on my kitchen counter. That's all the proof I need. Her company tried to make a lousy 200 bucks on me. Again my car was running 100 perfectly until they insisted I have this dam update on my car. Kim is a liar!
