Not Capable Of Paying Even the Smallest Claims
After they partnered up with Stamps.com insuring packages shipped through the USPS and insured by Shipsurance has been nothing but a hassle. They deny most claims and today they have sent me a personal email "warning" me that my claims ratio is high. I've mailed and insured several hundred packages thus far this year (2023). At the end of July I've filed 4 claims, all adding up to $1225. Their claim process is not fast, they don't pay fast, and even when provided all the proof needed, they find excuses as why not to pay. As part of their claim process they provide a link where customers have to answer three questions and sign their names as proof of loss or damage. If the customers don't do this the claim gets denied. Most clients will not do this especially when eBay refunds them their money almost instantly when they open an "item not received" case. If they cannot pay insurance claims they should not be in this business. I'm personally tired of dealing with fraudulent, incapable, dishonest insurance companies like Shipsurance.

Regret using Shipsurance, saved a little, lost a lot
Getting paid on our claim is difficult. Months have gone by and the company just seems to kick the can down the road. We leave voice messages and don't get responses. We are constantly asked to provided documents/information that don't seem viable or required. We are no longer going to do business with this company. We've paid them alot of money over the years and now that we are filing a claim, we found out the hard way that we can't trust shipsurance. From now on, we are going back to using Fedex or UPS's insurance when we ship with them. It is a little more with them, but they pay legitimate claims without playing the game of whack a mole that we are dealing with here. (and many other customers have reported). We should have trusted their reviews.

Mr. Woda, Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We have paid 19 claims for your company and have spoken to "Rae" by phone regarding what we require on your current claim. Constant communication has occurred during the entire process and will continue. A 1 star review indicating "Getting Paid after filing a claim seems to be impossible" when you have had 19 claims paid does not seem to be in good faith. We are happy to assist.
