"no show" fee of $400 USD and bags are an issues

Flying into Singapore that is complex enough under covid without travel issues. I had 2 bags, and one bag was over 50 pounds and Singapore Airlines would not allow me to go over 50 pounds or add an extra bag. I was willing to pay any fee they asked but no. I couldn't go and buy another suitcase. Only 2 suitcases at 50 pounds due to an embargo that they never mentioned. So, I had to pay for a different flight on a different airline (United) that day and change all my plans. Singapore Airlines then said that flight was non-refundable. I booked with Amex, thank god and got most of my money back. Hours on hold but never talked to a person. I was never able to actually speak with Customer Service only email over days and weeks. I still had to pay a "no show" fee of $400 USD but I did show up. What a joke this airline is. I don't understand how they get a 5 star review. Since they have terminated almost all of their employees in Singapore due to covid. More interested in moving cargo now. I am now suing them since they ended up costing me over 1000 USD that day.
