TERRIBLE TREATMENT OF TENANTS

This place is extremely cheep and they are very condescending. Dealing with the owners of the property we rented for 5 years was a nightmare. They don't care about anything except getting their rent. We had an issue with possums and one dying under out place, their response was to call their maintenance guy who of course didn't find the dead smelling animal. It wasn't until we brought in our own exterminator to check that we got to the bottom of the issue. How did Sterling deal with us by saying they wont pay for our exterminator because he is not on their approved vendor list. These Guys are the WORST.

Former Tenant

I lived in one of the properties managed by Sterling Property Management. (Sycamore Villa's Luxury Townhouses) The primary manager was William Moore. To my knowledge, the staff consisted of an onsite leasing Agent and a maintenance worker, which were a couple. I have no major complaints except service calls take 2-3 weeks for simple things. However over all, my review is fair because although maintaining the units could use some revisiting the overall experience was positive. In that, Tenants live in a peaceful, clean environment. The units are modern and feature luxury amenities. The icing on the cake is when you move out you are treated fairly. As there are several properties within California that strive to keep a portion or all of a tenants security deposit regardless of how well you maintained the units. I've experienced this. However this company is the only apartment that has ever returned most of my security deposit, and what was kept they deserved as the unit was not left 100% like it was leased to me. With that said, this management company is fair and tenants are treated fair at the end of the lease. In addition, they do not go up on rent, nor do they require signing another lease, after a one year lease your tenancy becomes month-to-month. I give this apartment complex and upper management 5 stars and wish I could have stayed longer.
