It's not about money it's about a situation. I applied for a rental at the ranch at Bear Creek spoke with a lady by the name of Megan. I've been working with the action center and the erap program we've been all three four of us have been working together for about 3 weeks trying to get me into an apartment as I have had to resort to living in my car. I got a phone call yesterday Jan 12th from Megan property manager saying she can't rent to me due to improper information received through their 3rd party back ground services. I tried to explain to her but she was shot and very rude suddenly. She wouldn't give me a chance to explain she said call me when you get it straightened out and u can try to reaply. So now I'm living in my car due to false wording on my back ground check. I called CBI the main number and they do not even have the information obtained by this 3rd party on file. From the research I have done it is illegal for a property to base their decision on pending charges that I'm fighting .
