I know several people who love to eat here and love the food but they have the same problems.
Let me start by saying that I love the food at this deli. My problem is I can Never seem to place an order. If you call within the hour of them closing, they do not answer the phone. Last night I had to call tobacco plus to see if they could take my order and the woman that answered was hollering for the woman who was working in the deli. From what I could understand one of the employees left without any warning which only left one person working in there. The woman finally got on the phone and said their phone was dead and that I would have to come to the store to place my order because she could not take it on that phone. I sent my son to place our order and when he got there at 8:15pm, the woman told him that she was not taking any more orders because she was by herself and she was cleaning up. This is not the first time this has happened. Like I said they hardly ever answer the phone or they completely take it off the hook so they don't have to take orders. I love this place but the customer service is horrible and the employee's don't seem to want to do their job! I'm not seeking any type of monetary gain from this only better management and employees. I love the food here and would like to be able to support this business more but because of employee's I cannot. There are very limited amount of places to eat in Marksville and this is one of the best places to buy good home cooked food.
