Have an ad on Facebook that will pay up to $4000 over KBB for a trade in. My son & I went in. The salesman brought an offer, from the office, of $3,000 of which my son's car was valued at $1,000. They then listed all repairs that were needed and deducted the cost for each leaving my son with an offer of negative $575. When I mentioned that it appears their charging my son for repairs, the salesman said "well, we can't sell it. It will go to auction, but if we made the repairs, it would cost us." I said "exactly! You're charging him for repairs that you're not going to make." Their ad doesn't state "up to $4,000 over KBB and then minus the cost of repairs." I believe this is a gimmick to get you in the door with misleading info. This is the first vehicle that my son would be purchasing on his own, and I feel like the dealership was using manipulation. I do not desire any contact from the dealership. I will not be returning & will make sure my family & friends are aware of their sales tactics.
