Complainants for this company allege the company fails to send tax course materials as agreed, and fails to provide refunds. Some customers complain they have been waiting several months for the materials with no word from the company. Other complainants report they are unable to contact the company, and emails and calls are not returned.

The company responds to complaints by advising complainants that due to an overwhelming amount to orders, they found it necessary to have a second edition re-print of their materials which delayed orders. The company offered the complainants a discount on the course materials should they want to continue waiting, or advised those requesting a refund to visit their website at www.trieducation.com/cancel, to request cancellation.

We believe that the company's response to complaints is inadequate, and does not actually address the issues. When merchandise is ordered via internet sales, or mail order, the merchandise should be delivered within a reasonable time period. According to Federal Law, that time period is generally 30 days unless otherwise specified at the time of delivery.
