I wonder if an unsanitary instrument was used during my pedicure.

I was a customer of Tustin Nail Spa in Orange (962 N Tustin St) for around 2 years for manicure and pedicure. When I had one pedicure, a metal instrument was used to trim my cuticles and clean under my toe nails. Please note that my toe nails were clean at the time. A few days after the pedicure, my large toe on my right foot became flaky on the surface. Moreover, I had toe pain imbedded. This pain persisted for around 3 months and then resolved. I wonder if an unsanitary instrument was used during my pedicure. I would like for Tustin Nail Spa to maintain sanitary manicure and pedicure tools and instruments.
