I paid for health insurance yesterday at $1000 premium a month , automatic withdrawal. I was never generated an email receipt or given my needed member ID to secure a doctor. I was on hold twice to speak with Anthem blue shield , over and just under 2 hours each time with no answer. I tried to log in and it didn't work. I tried with my social number and it said an account has already been made . I sent a request to send an email to create a new password and the email never came. I did that at meat 5 times. It's not in my spam file . I've never had this experience in America with a health insurance company , especially at $1000 a month and we legally need to have health insurance. Resolution Sought I want my member Id I want a fluid communication from anthem blue shield . I want the $1000 premium for this long b to I be deducted . I needed to see a doctor yesterday as I'm flying to my mothers surgery today and will be assisting her for at near a week providing it goes well. She's 88.

Conflicting information about insurance plans. It states on the website and brochure before I bought into a health insurance plan, stating, "a copay is a fixed amount you pay for a covered prescription until you reach your out-of-pocket maximum." The copay for generic prescriptions for my plan is $15. Brand copay is $45. But when I go to the pharmacy they charge $245. When I called Anthem about this, they stated "you have to meet your deductible before the copay cost is what you pay per prescription." So which is it? I pay the copay until the out-of-pocket is met or I pay absurd costs for prescriptions until deductible is met? They're literally making it up as they go and fucking over my health and wellbeing. Resolution Sought Ideally, I'd like the company shut down like the fraudulent people they are. I have never had this issue with a health insurance plan before, especially a plan through my job. I'll take a refund for what I've paid so far and for my plan to be cancelled moving forward, because no health insurance is better than paying $360 a month for the plan, then paying 80 of the prescription cost. Lastly, I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Seriously. Shut then down. Anthem has no business insur
