Beware of Orkin Pest Control in Pie Bluff, AR.

An Orkin representative showed up without an appointment to do an "Annual" inspection of my elderly Mother's home. The rep went into my Mother's attic and told her she had a Roof rat infestation. The rep also provided pictures and told my Mother that he could fix it for $8,000. I contacted 2 additional contractors to provide a quote for the work, only to find out there wasn't anything wrong with my Mother's attic and was advised not to do anything. It appeared that Orkin provided pictures of someone else's home to persuade my Mother into a financial agreement with Orkin for $8,000. Thank God for the two reputable companies they looked at her attic. Both companies noted 0 infestation and 0 issues with her insulation. Orkin should be ashamed of preying on the elderly. I'm disgusted and appalled. Remind companies like Orkin that it's a Federal crime to target the elderly and not give them a pass because of the Orkin name. They're crooks and should be admonished for targeting the elderly.
