Smart & Final Stores, LLC. complaints

In February, went right before the store closed, I notice a female employee gathering carts, carts were lined up in the entry, making it difficult to get into the store. I entered the store, it was not busy since it was almost closing. Went to wash my hands, and then got what I needed and went to the line to check out. An employee and a plain clothed man walk towards me, while I was standing inline she stops ( the woman that was bringing in the carts) the man walked up to me stating "we observed you with a cart, where is it now" he asked if he could look in my purse, I said sure, he said Ok, I asked for a copy of the tape since it was on camera, he did not say anything so I said call the police, I kept asking what is going on. I asked for the supervisor. The cashier told me that the lady bringing in the carts in is the supervisor. Turns out the man is not an employee, he was a customer. They allowed him to come up to me and check my purse. I asked for the number for the manager, they gave me the number to waste management. I gave them my name and number, they never called me. The supervisor told me she had never seen me before, I asked her if she sees everyone in the store. She said I had a "vibe" about me, I told her she did too! Resolution Sought what was the reason for this treatment-
