BCA's Summary and Analysis:
Complainants allege defective merchandise, and difficulties with requests for refunds or exchanges. Some customers complain their merchandise is delivered in defective condition, or ceases to function properly a short time after arrival. Several complainants report difficulty contacting the company to obtain RMA numbers for returns. Others report the company refused returned items sent via UPS service, claiming merchandise arrived damaged. A few complain the company fails to honor their warranties. The company responds to most complaints by exchanging defective merchandise, issuing credits, and the customer as the shipper must file a claim for damages to cover the cost of the item, and claim non-responsibility. In cases where returned items were refused by the company, the company contends that the customer, as the shipper of the item, must file a claim for damages. The company agrees to send parts or perform repairs on most warranty issues, however, some warranty claims were refused due to customers having exceeded the standard warranty period.
