Other complainants allege they agreed to a free 30 day trial of the company’s services. Most complainants allege the company’s solicitation technique is misleading, offering free services or simply verifying their directory information and then placing charges on their telephone bill.

The company responds to some complaints by canceling accounts or issuing credits for the unauthorized charges. In a few cases, the company refuses to issue refunds, claiming that the call was recorded and the charges were authorized.
