I believe they are scammers.

This company somehow gets my info and a debt I may have had, or paid already, or not really owed at all as no real service has been supplied. They give no real proof of this debt or any paperwork to review. When you call them to make an inquiry, they will not let you hang up. They keep talking and try to make a deal with you. I got ripped off by them earlier in the year and paid them $1300 that I received no service for. They said it was a Verizon Service that I never got. They are now trying to scam me for MTA charges for and EZ Pass that I have paid up to date recently. I believe they are scammers.
