Do not hire this company

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to do their research before trusting them with something as important as their taxes. Based on my personal experience, I feel completely let down, frustrated, and taken advantage of. I hired them to handle my tax case in New York, and they assured me they would take care of everything. They specifically told me not to contact the New York State tax authorities because they would handle everything on my behalf. I trusted them and followed their instructions. After charging me for almost a year, I recently received a letter informing me that New York State would be taking a percentage of my paycheck. I was shocked and extremely upset. When I contacted the company to find out what had happened, I discovered that they had not filed the necessary paperwork with New York State. It was only after I complained that they realized the paperwork had not been submitted. I have tried contacting them multiple times by phone and email, and communication has been extremely difficult. Today, after repeatedly calling because I was desperate for answers, they hung up on me three times before finally answering. Their response was essentially that it was too late for them to do anything and that I would have to pay anyway. They then told me they would refund my money. An apology and a refund do not undo the damage caused by failing to do the job I paid them to do. If the paperwork had been handled properly and on time, I might not be facing this situation now, with part of my hard-earned paycheck being taken away. What upsets me the most is that I trusted them to handle my case, followed their instructions, and continued paying them, only to discover that essential work had not been completed. I hired them to help resolve my tax situation, not to leave me in a worse position. I am sharing pictures of my experience so others can understand why I am so disappointed. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company ask questions, verify that all required paperwork has actually been filed, and independently follow up with the relevant tax authorities rather than relying solely on promises.
